Connecticut History seeks the following:
There is no set word length on articles, thought the average length is 12,000-15,000 words. In addition to articles, the journal accepts books for review from authors and publishers.
All authors desiring to submit original articles for publication consideration in Connecticut History may send an electronic copy of the proposed article, in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format to the editor. The author’s name should not appear on the submission itself. All articles should conform to the Chicago Manual of Style, utilizing footnotes. Black and white photographs and illustrations are welcome.
Please provide both an e-mail and a USPS mail address so that the editor may contact you regarding the receipt and possible acceptance of the proposed article. Articles and essays submitted to Connecticut History should not be submitted to any other publication while under consideration.
